Delete your Splendy account
You can delete your Splendy account, made by NIRP Technologies, at any time. Here's how, and exactly what happens to your data.
In the app
- Open Splendy and go to Account › Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Sign in again to confirm it's you.
- Confirm. You're signed out, and we email you that it's done.
Before you can delete, you need to be settled up in every group, so nobody is left owed money they can't track. The app shows you which groups still have a balance.
Can't open the app?
Email nirp.technologies.official@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We'll confirm it's you, delete the account, and reply within 30 days.
What happens to your data
Deleted straight away
- Your account, sign-in details and signed-in devices
- Your personal expenses, budgets, categories and accounts
- Your receipt photos and profile photo
- Your notification settings and anything you sent us through the app
- Groups where you were the only member
What stays
- In groups where you shared expenses, those expenses and settlements stay so everyone else's balances still add up. They show as from a deleted account.
- In groups where you didn't share any expenses, your name and comments are removed.
- Copies in our backups are deleted automatically within 30 days.
