Splendy is an app for tracking personal spending, splitting shared costs and budgeting. It is made by NIRP Technologies (“we”, “us”) in Coimbatore, India. This policy explains what Splendy collects, why, and the choices you have.

We don't collect your location, contacts, or other files on your phone, and we don't use advertising ids.
Everything Splendy sends travels encrypted (HTTPS). Your personal expenses, budgets and personal receipt photos are encrypted on your phone before they're uploaded, with a key that is itself protected by Google Cloud's key management service. Group data is stored encrypted by our cloud provider and is visible to the members of that group.
No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who and what can reach your data, and we would tell you promptly if a breach affected you.
We use a few companies to run Splendy. They process data only on our instructions:
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted straight away and disappears from our backups within 30 days. Records of signed-in devices are deleted 90 days after they're last used.
In groups where you shared expenses, those expenses stay so the group's balances still add up, shown as from a deleted account. See Delete your account for the details.
Splendy is meant for people aged 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they apply.
